Directpost Executive Team

Elliot B. Newman is the Chief Executive Officer of Directpost, Inc. which operates Directpostx.com, an information site created to expand the market for Direct Participation Programs by providing a single information source for all members of the investment community, while both respecting and enhancing the traditional values of that community. Mr. Newman is a securities attorney who is also serving as the head of the Philadelphia office of Cabin Securities, Inc., (under whose auspices Directpost operates) and the President of Brandywine Investment Securities. In addition to being a licensed attorney in the State of New York, he holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses. As a securities lawyer Mr. Newman has lectured extensively on both Regulation D and due diligence matters. He has participated as issuer’s counsel for several billion dollars in alternative asset placements, representing both sponsors of multiple classes of real estate, oil, gas and coal, as well as an exchange listed REITs and public limited partnerships. As an entrepreneur he was instrumental in the founding of Alliance Entertainment, a New York Stock Exchange listed company in which he held the positions of Senior Executive Vice President, Business Affairs and General Counsel and where he served as a member of the Board of Directors. He, together with Janice Newman and Michael Keene, a former Vice President of Business Development at Loopnet, founded aeOffice Corp., an e-commerce supplier of office, janitorial and packaging goods for multi-location businesses. Prior to ceasing operations in 2009, aeOffice was the only virtual distributor of Georgia Pacific products and was a preferred supplier of ziploc bags to jewelry manufacturers doing business with Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club with customers in the United States, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.

Richard Montano is principal of Directpost, Inc, which operates Directpostx.com, an information site created to expand the market for Direct Participation Programs by providing a single information source for all members of the investment community, while both respecting and enhancing the traditional values of that community. Mr. Montano is the founder of two successful real estate investment companies. He has two Bachelor Degrees, in Aerospace Engineering and Physics and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Prior to obtaining his Master's Degree in 2004, he worked as an Aerospace Engineer which included designing unmanned aircraft for military applications. One of Mr. Montano's companies is a private equity firm for investment in local real estate projects in San Diego, CA. In the last decade, his Companies have facilitated over $100 million in successful real estate transactions and are currently managing over $200 million in local projects. Mr. Montano is a licensed real estate broker in California.
