How Does It Work - Institutional Investor
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Review Investment Opportunities

Institutional Investors will have the opportunity to search a variety of investment opportunities per the Institutional Investor’s particular search criterion. There is an “auto search” capability that will notify the Institutional Investor of any new opportunities on Directpost that meet their pre-established search criterion.

Why Directpost
  • Directpost eliminates time used to review transactions that do not meet criteria
  • Directpost provides a search capability that allows the institutional buyers to be notified of investments that meet or exceed their investment criteria.

Frequently Asked Questions

(Click question to expand/collapse answer.)

May I invest in all offerings listed on Directpost?

Yes. While many of the offerings on Directpost may be directed at accredited investors we will advise you of situations within those offerings that can be modified to meet your needs.

Do I need a Broker Dealer to invest?

No. While a broker dealer is necessary to invest in a syndicated transaction, it is not necessary in transactions with institutional investors in which transaction terms are separately negotiated. Those types of transactions which are being offered on the basis of individual negotiation are clearly marked. If you are interested in a transaction of that type it is up to you to contact the Sponsor and to conduct the negotiation. All we ask is that you report to us the result of the negotiation and supply the information to file a Form D.

Will Directpost notify me of transactions that meet my investment criteria?

Yes. If you will fill out our questionnaire setting forth your investment parameters, we will notify you by email of transactions which meet those criteria.

Does Directpost list all offerings presented to it?

No. In order to be listed on Directpost a Sponsor must sign a Listing Agreement and meet listing standards.

Does Directpost have a Privacy Policy?

Yes. Here is a link to our Privacy Policy.

Is Directpost a Broker-Dealer?

Directpost is an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction “OSJ" under a FINRA Broker-Dealer.

How does Directpost handle Blue Sky filings?

Directpost will submit Blue Sky filings on behalf of the Sponsor.

Investing in Direct participation programs is not suitable for all investors. An investment in direct participation programs involves a high degree of risk and should only be considered a long-term investment. You must be prepared to withstand a total loss of your investment. Direct participation programs are also illiquid and there is no guarantee that a market will develop for such securities.
